Project Kati 2 is a 100+ MW Critical IT (CIT) AI and high-performance computing data centre forming the first phase of a larger renewable-powered campus in South Texas. Designed to support dense, GPU-ready AI workloads, the development establishes a scalable roadmap toward more than 300 MW of total CIT capacity.
Kati 2 represents the next phase in the evolution of Project Kati, a renewable-powered digital infrastructure campus designed to meet the accelerating demands of AI and high-performance computing.
The initial development delivers 100+ MW of dedicated Critical IT capacity, purpose-built for dense, GPU-ready AI and HPC deployments. The wider expansion roadmap supports more than 300 MW of total CIT capacity, creating a scalable campus platform capable of responding rapidly to market demand.
Located in South Texas, near McAllen, the campus provides geographic diversity within the U.S. data centre landscape, offering an alternative to traditional Central and West Texas deployment strategies whilst retaining access to available and scalable renewable power.
Project Kati 2 establishes a dual-purpose, renewable-powered facility capable of supporting both digital assets and AI/HPC customers as demand evolves, demonstrating how constrained renewable energy can be transformed into productive, large-scale compute.
