Celebrating Ten Years of The Diamond

This month marks 10 years since the opening of The Diamond at The University of Sheffield.

As our first ever completed project in the UK, The Diamond holds a special place in our heart and we are extremely proud to be celebrating this special milestone.

One of the UK’s most advanced teaching, learning and laboratory spaces, the building houses 21 specialist engineering laboratories, lecture theatres, flexible teaching spaces, workshops, a learning resource centre and a variety of integrated study environments for collaboration and independent learning. Supporting up to 5,000 students across multiple disciplines, The Diamond was built to foster hands-on, cross-disciplinary education and research for the 21st century.

To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, we will be reflecting on the impact it has had over the last decade.
