Lena is a Part II Architectural Assistant with a background in architectural design, computational methods and digital technologies. She studied BSc Architectural Design and Technology at Cardiff Metropolitan University, MA in Architecture at the University of Westminster, and recently MSc Computational Methods in Architecture at Cardiff University.

Her work explores the relationship between culture, memory and technology. She is particularly interested in parametric design, biomimicry and generative processes, and how emerging technologies can inform architecture at both building and urban scales. Lena’s academic work has investigated themes of collective memory, cultural identity and place making, while her computational research has focused on algorithmic growth systems, digital fabrication and design automation.

Outside of architecture, she enjoys travelling, photography and art.
